Overview

The Sun Java Composite Application Platform Suite (Java CAPS) Administration course is intended to present the Java CAPS software to a technical support audience that will monitor and troubleshoot in the Java CAPS environment. This course is not intended for developers. Developers should review the descriptions of Foundations of Sun Java Composite Application Platform Suite (Java CAPS) I and II (SB-CAP-0501 and SB-CAP-0502).

Objectives

Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to:

  • Describe and define the concepts and functionality of Sun SeeBeyond eGate Integrator (eGate) 5.1
  • Demonstrate the use of available tools within eGate to maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot eGate within Java CAPS

PreRequisites

To succeed fully in this course, it is recommended that students have a background in Java technology and application integration.
