This course provides students with the necessary information, skill development, and practical hands-on training to enable data center personnel to operate, troubleshoot, and administer the L700e Tape library.

• Knowledge of tape drives (DLT 7000/8000 SDLT, STK Model 9840/9940, and LTO vendors)

• Experience with external interfaces (SCSI , RS423, Token Ring, TCP/IP)

• Basic troubleshooting knowledge
